Join us for the first ever Adobe Game Jam!

I’m excited to announce that we will be holding the first-ever Adobe Game Jam on October 19th and 20th at the Adobe San Francisco office. There will be members of the gaming team on-hand to help with questions and guidance plus my evangelist colleagues Tom and Renaun.

The idea is to keep the event small so we are limiting it to 50 attendees. In the future we plan on doing a series of these game jams worldwide. As for prizes, we are giving away 12 month subscriptions to the Adobe Creative Cloud. You can come and work independently or sign up to be part of a team.

Check out the gaming site for the details of the event or go directly to EventBrite to register.

  1. Hey Lee
Have a few questions regards to Stage3D, Concurrency and Starling requirements.
    Can I dm you?
No answers on the adobe forums

  2. Lee,

Quick question about the Game Jams. (history first sorry) I haven’t actually developed a game in AS since college (3+ years ago) and may be a little rusty in that regard (although I do use AS3 on a daily/weekly basis at my job) and would love to get more involved in game development. Would signing up for this be fine based off my lack of direct game development, or are the Game Jams more orientated towards those currently within the industry?

    Thanks,
    Kyle

  3. Hey Kyle,

I’m sort of in the same boat as you. I am not a full-timer in the industry, but I am attending the game jam. We should form a team :).
